The walk through the treetops is impressive in itself, but the highlight is, of course, the fantastic observation tower. Enjoy the sweeping views over the verdant Northern Black Forest as you spiral up the tower. If you want, you can slide back down on the slide. The entrance fee is well worth it.

The Zavelstein hiking lodge is a popular starting point for hikes and bike tours. In spring it is surrounded by wild crocuses - in summer, green meadows surround the hiking lodge. The small waterfall (the largest in the gorge) is actually the most beautiful spot in the valley. Magnificent rocks - some you can sit on. A wonderful place of power - especially when there is not so much going on.

In the whole Monbach Gorge there are several small waterfalls that are also waiting for you away from the large overflowing main path

Wild gorge with a varied river course and sometimes difficult passages. It's just fun.

Outside the rush hour (open all year round) a wonderful place to relax.
