Great view of the foothills of the Alps, the lakes and the Alps... not nearly as busy as on the Herzogstand 🤩 Super nice rustic hut.

The name of the alp apparently goes back to the grouse, which can still be found here alongside grouse, roe deer and deer. In any case, the emblem and the murals in the interior indicate this. A fantastic panoramic view of the Tegernsee, the tour is worth it for that alone.

A great starting point for circling the lake. Here at Gut Kaltenbrunn we enjoyed a really great white sausage breakfast.

the 20km route is easy for everyone to master. In between you have a tremendous view of the lake and the mountains.

We climbed over the Kotalm to the Jochberg and then stopped at the Jocheralm. After the Kotalm it is quite steep uphill, but there is less public traffic.
