The Wildmeisterstein is a striking sandstone rock formation in the Lahmer Forest. There is no reliable information about the origin and meaning of the inscriptions and steps carved into the stone, which makes the site mysterious. It is a popular hiking destination and offers an interesting geological structure in the heart of nature.

It's lovely there at the Michelau Cellar Inn. There's also a playground. There's even a small, real excavator (coin-operated). Delicious food, and it's right on the edge of the forest.

A very beautiful hiking destination is the Forstmeisterstein rock formation in the middle of the Lahmer Forest. Above the stone, there is an information board, as well as tables and benches.
