Erlaufsee The Erlaufsee (formerly also Erlafsee) is a mountain lake at the foot of the Gemeindealpe not far from the town of Mitterbach am Erlaufsee. In the summer months, the lake can be reached from Mariazell on the Mariazell-Erlaufsee museum tram, which is operated with historic steam tram sets.
