After the tour you can sit on the terrace in the evening sun.

Fairly easy to reach by e-bike and also a popular destination for hikers, so, as Thomas already mentioned, it's usually crowded. However, most people don't go any further than the lakeshore, and it quickly becomes quieter towards the top if you avoid the motorway to the Coburger Hütte.

Great, rustic hut. The view of the Zugspitze and the valley (especially at sunset) is amazing. The rooms and mattresses are in very good condition. The host is very friendly and the prices are quite reasonable for a mountain hut. For dinner you can choose between vegetarian and meat, and you can get seconds for free. In the morning there is a good breakfast buffet. All in all a wonderful experience.

At the valley station you have another view of the Zugspitze.

Newly renovated, beautiful Alm with delicious food. I have never eaten such good Kaspressknödel. A dream. 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
