The Kreuzeiche near Lörrach (more precisely in Brombach, on Adelhauser Straße in the Brombach Forest) is a striking natural monument with great historical significance:

A really great starting point for day hikes or bike tours. Lots of hiking tips already on the board at the house. A huge parking lot with barbecue facilities.

You have a magnificent view from the Blauen, perhaps because this peak seems to extend far into the Upper Rhine plain and thus offers a particularly outstanding view into the depths. But you can also see the Vosges and the Alps very well! Simply a must for every visitor to the border triangle!

Spacious area in the middle of the forest with a hut and plenty of seating for resting and relaxing.

The Belchenhaus was built in 1898 as a shelter below the Belchen summit. It is located at 1,360 meters and is therefore the highest inn and restaurant in Baden-Württemberg. Guests sometimes describe the south terrace in front of the house as one of the most beautiful tavern terraces in the Black Forest.

This large refuge is located at the starting point of a central hiking car park. A signpost shows the many possibilities to start a tour from this point.

The walk around the pond is really worth it. Almost half of it is designated as a bathing lake. We had nice weather at the end of October, but it was too cold for swimming.
