You should definitely take the time and read the information board at this place. A special feature here is the section with artificial steps (water slides) that canalized up to the mouth of the Modenbach. Very nice to see from the wide bridge there.

We can always go here to the lake if we need some peace and relaxation after all the hiking in the Palatinate.

The Silzer See is a lake dammed by the Klingbach. It is well used for going around. You meet joggers and walkers with and without dogs. Benches invite you to take a break.
