이곳에서 l'Étang Fleckenstein 주변을 산책할 수 있으며, 길의 일부는 도로를 따라 이어집니다. 원하는 사람은 Gimbelhof를 통해 Château Fort du Fleckenstein까지 완만한 길을 걷거나, 연못의 다른 쪽 끝으로 가파르고 짧은 길을 이용할 수 있습니다. 공용 무료 주차장과 Château로 가는 길은 연못 쪽이 아닌 도로의 다른 쪽에 있습니다. 옛 요새까지 이어지는 순환로는 7km가 조금 넘습니다.

This artwork, entitled "To See Beyond," is part of the "St. Martin Art Trail" and dates from 2023. "London-based artist Tim Norris draws inspiration from the surrounding landscape and, wherever possible, uses local natural materials in combination with constructed elements. As a harmonious symbiosis of landscape and art, the work invites visitors to enjoy the expansive view across the Rhine plain. It consists of an inner layer of stretched canvas, which offers protection and shade to the seated figure, while the outer layer of local vine tendrils alludes to the surrounding wine region. 'To See Beyond' translates to 'to see beyond.' We can interpret this as the view across the Rhine plain or, philosophically, as the perspective from the present into the future." St. Anne's Chapel near Niederschlettenbach is a medieval pilgrimage chapel containing the tomb of the knight Hans von Droth (also known as Troth or Trotha). Saint Anne is the patron saint of miners and boatmen. This suggests that the chapel was built on this site to praise God, as mining was practiced in the Wasgau region from an early period. A former iron ore mine is also located in the immediate vicinity.
