Very beautiful hiking area with partly winding but always easily accessible paths.

It's amazing how many ups and downs this wooded inland dune landscape of Boomberge has. It used to be a heathland with flocks of sheep, but is now covered in conifers, oak and birch. It's a shame that the heath is no longer there. But the hills are still there and they are also good terrain for mountain bikers.

You can climb all the way to the windmill on the road with a racing bike or on various forest paths by mountain bike or gravel bike.

Attention, big mess! The crest path is to be completely removed over 1.5 km up to 7m, crossed with roads for heavy goods transport and then transformed into a wind farm!
