One of several bridges in the park, this one takes you over Sand Creek. The creek is very calm in this area and it is a good place for a quick break to enjoy the peaceful setting.

The Universal Products Boardwalk was completed in 2016, a key part of a 50-acre expansion project. The boardwalk connects the Hansen Nature Trail to the Sandy Hansen Shoreline Trail, the paved loop trail that surrounds the park's main lake. The boardwalk enables visitors of all ages and abilities to enjoy the wetlands of Millennium Park.

This urban park is the largest of its kind in West Michigan. It consists of 1,500 acres of reclaimed land that's now lush and brimming with wildlife. You can relax on the beach, rent a boat, and explore the trails.

The trail runs along the banks of the Grand River and reaches the canoe dock.

At the second parking lot, especially for the kayakers, there are beautiful flower meadows, lots of bees cavort here. The information board on the ice age is also interesting, you can see how far the glaciation had advanced.

There is a boarding aid for kayaks on the calmly flowing river. The view is very relaxing and the silence just beautiful.
