Lake Körbersee lies idyllically nestled between alpine meadows and striking peaks, revealing itself in winter as a tranquil, snow-covered landscape. Instead of reflections in the water, snow, ice, and the surrounding white slopes dominate the scene. It's ideal for a peaceful winter hike with postcard-perfect panoramas and plenty of fresh mountain air.

Lake Kalbele is idyllically situated on the Hochtannberg Pass and, in calm weather, reflects the surrounding peaks. A beautiful spot for a short break right by the road, ideal as a photo stop or starting point for hikes around Warth-Schröcken.

Everything beautifully laid out at the reservoir

The "Hohes Licht" reservoir in Damüls was built in 2008 and has a capacity of approximately 86,000 m³. Because it was constructed in a boggy depression, it was considered problematic from a nature conservation perspective. Some of the bog vegetation has been reintroduced to the sides, but the artificial structure is still clearly visible thanks to the surrounding roadway, the fence, and the graveled, uniformly sloped slopes.

Most visited ski touring summit in the Damüls area, well worth it. Various descent options with different levels of difficulty and exposure. Long powder fun on the north side.
