안델스부흐‬에서 가장 멋진 ‪20‬개의 호수

Staufensee의 댐은 호수의 북쪽 끝을 형성하며 Rappenloch 협곡을 통과하는 하이킹에서 눈에 띄는 구조물입니다. 댐 바로 아래에서 물은 인공 폭포로 Dornbirner Ach로 떨어져 인상적인 자연의 광경을 연출합니다. 저수지 자체는 거의 비어 있었는데, 이는 Apploch 협곡 입구에 있는 새로운 수력 발전소의 건설 노동자들 때문일 수 있습니다.

And then it lies down there like a forgotten eye of the landscape: Lake Süns. Dark and round, framed by undulating meadows where summer dwells. No noise, no boats, no paths that claim to lead to the shore. The lake simply looks back – as if you yourself were the stranger in a story that has been told here for much longer. Whoever reaches the pass stands on a line between worlds. Behind you is the lake, in front of you the path to the peak – and to the side, the view stretches far down, where the Rhine Valley disappears. On a clear day, some say you can see Lake Constance. I think you see yourself above all – smaller, but also lighter than you thought. It's not the grand gestures that characterize this hike. It's the way the light clings to the slopes, the way the wind accompanies the path, the way the trail doesn't lead you but invites you. And anyone standing up there—between the Ragazer Grat, the Sünser Joch, and the dark blue of the small lake—may notice: The most beautiful places don't scream. They whisper.

The waterfall is formed by the overflow of the Staufensee reservoir. The reservoir currently has very little water. The weir was recrossed. The path is accessible on the right side (coming from the Rappenloch Gorge).

The "Hohes Licht" reservoir in Damüls was built in 2008 and has a capacity of approximately 86,000 m³. Because it was constructed in a boggy depression, it was considered problematic from a nature conservation perspective. Some of the bog vegetation has been reintroduced to the sides, but the artificial structure is still clearly visible thanks to the surrounding roadway, the fence, and the graveled, uniformly sloped slopes.

It's definitely a beautiful lake when it's full to the brim. Unfortunately, it was so empty during our visit that we could only walk through it! But that was still nice 🤣👍

Unfortunately the dam is no longer accessible at the moment, so the waterfall is best seen from a distance!!!
