From the vantage point at the Heinrich von Dechen monument you have a beautiful view of the Drachenburg and the Drachenfelsbahn. The benches invite you to take a break here.

Our hike through the beautiful Siebengebirge was worth it for this fantastic view alone. Just enjoy!

The model shows it at its best, around 1300. You can see here that the castle complex consisted of four parts, namely the main castle, the outer castle, the old town and the new town. It is one of the largest castle complexes in western Germany.
