A beautifully situated Vesperstube with a great view from the terrace, with milk, bibilis cheese, bread etc. made in-house... extremely tasty and at really reasonable prices. A stop is worthwhile in any case. The service was also very friendly, attentive and fast. Highly Recommended!

At the saddle (place between two mountains) is this cross and the hut that is open on Sundays. There is also a children's playground and a hiking car park. Seating available. Wonderfully fresh spring water gushes out of a fountain at the Kreuzsattelhütte. Unfortunately no view!

The journey is the destination? Not at our Renchtalhütte in Bad Peterstal-Griesbach! The Black Forest, Alsatian and French specialties are so delicious, the view so beautiful, the atmosphere so enchanting and cozy that it's not "We're going hiking", but "We're hiking to the Renchtalhütte!" It's a wonderful spot high above the Renchtal, where the Renchtalhütte, as a "rustic branch" of the Dollenberg Hotel, knows how to pamper visitors in a down-to-earth way. With homemade Maultaschen with onion jus, Alsatian "Bäckeoffe", Bibileskäs, smoked Black Forest trout, sausage in a jar, cracklings, onion roast beef, fondue and raclette and, and, and. Prepared with that certain something in the Dollenberg kitchen under the direction of star chef Martin Herrmann. And served by friendly staff who love service. Beautiful observation tower with a great view. Good food at reasonable prices. The rooms for overnight stays are also completely reasonable in price. Everything is clean.

Nice spot in a small clearing with a witch's house and 2 groups of tables that invite you to have a snack. The witch's house served us as a rain shelter.
