great place for a little rest

Not only the bridge, but also the adjacent boardwalks are easy to walk on. And from everywhere, you have fantastic views of the Este River and the surrounding countryside.

The Este makes a bend here. From a bench you have a very nice view.

The bridge over the Este near the Kakenstorf school camp, which was opened in 2015, is located at the southern beginning of the boardwalk through the Este floodplain near Kakenstorf. A sign on the bridge railing refers to the carpentry company Broocks from Neuenkirchen, OT Grauen, which carried out the work. Sometimes "horror has many faces", this one is definitely positive 👍😀.

The approximately 250 m long boardwalk begins behind the bridge over the Este and replaces the old path along the river, remnants of which can still be seen.
