Next to the church is the Pankratius Fountain. Ernst Schlüter's Pankratius Fountain was created in 1993. The top is a sandstone capital bearing the figure of St. Pankratius, the patron saint of the Catholic Church. The bronze depictions relate to the local history.

On a sunny Saturday afternoon in July (the first day of vacation), we were the only people here. But the water was teeming with life! It's a wonderful spot; I almost don't want to recommend it, so it stays this beautiful forever 🤩 The circular path is natural but well-maintained.

The grounds, with their large garden, picnic area, demonstration biotope, and interactive stations, are barrier-free and accessible to visitors at all times. There's so much to learn thanks to the numerous information panels, and it's blooming, croaking, and buzzing like crazy now in July. Thanks to ample parking and its wheelchair and mobility-impaired accessibility, it's also ideal for a nature visit with seniors.

If you don't like forest highways, here you'll find a wonderful narrow path; every now and then you have to climb over a tree trunk, which keeps the cyclists away 😊 Wild raspberries provide additional joy in early summer.

Beautiful gravel path that leads through a long avenue. It is also lined with numerous rhododendrons, which is a real highlight, especially when in bloom.

It's really nice to look at.
