The pleasure boat museum is housed in one of the historic warehouses in Hobro harbor. It displays 30 different ships/boats, including the cruiser "Silvana" from 1895, which you can also see inside. In the centre of Hobro is the old brewery, where two brothers started producing mineral water and later beer in 1841. For 140 years the brewery was the absolute pride of the town and beer brands such as Hobbie and Fyrkat were popular throughout the country. From the architecturally well-designed viewing platform of the Skibstømrerhuset you have a unique view of the Mariager Fjord, the harbor and the old shipyard. The building that houses the Maritime Cultural Center is also called the Shipbuilder's House. Here you can learn how the old ships are restored. A signposted path leads directly from here through the shipyard.

In the immediate vicinity of Fyrkatborgen is the Viking farm, which consists of nine reconstructed houses, which together form a manor house as known from Harald Bluetooth's time.

Here, near the town of Hobro, you will find one of the best-studied Viking castles in the area. The rampart itself is circular and is located about a kilometer west of the local museum village, which was modeled on the farm of a large farmer.
