The beach of Nørengvej is located north of Glyngøre and right in front of the Fur island. It's a very calm and quiet place, where you can enjoy a lot of time alone.

Glyngøre is a small town in Central Denmark, right in front of the Mors island. With a population of 1,395 people, Glyngøre is one of the biggest towns in the Skive municipality.

Former factory building, today it houses the brewery and the restaurant “Fur Bryghus”.

Great picnic spot at Salling Natursti in the middle of nature, far from roads. It's a shame that you're not allowed to camp here.

This huge 6.5 ton steel cow stands as a landmark in front of the cheese shop and dairy in Thise. Created by the artist Bernhard Lipsøe, it was brought to its destination in Thise in 2007 after a stopover at the Skiver Art Museum and at Posttorvet in Skive. http://www.ecoweb.dk/artikler/20070523.htm

The old harbor basin can be found on the southwest coast of the island of Fur. In 1911, the fishermen built their harbor here. However, the wind and current conditions meant that the harbor entrance became increasingly silted up. Even the expansion of the pier in 1923 did not solve the problem. In 1956, the harbor was finally abandoned due to silting up and relocated to the newly built ferry port around three kilometers away.
