It is truly unique

The beach of Nørengvej is located north of Glyngøre and right in front of the Fur island. It's a very calm and quiet place, where you can enjoy a lot of time alone.

Former factory building, today it houses the brewery and the restaurant “Fur Bryghus”.

Coastal path with little traffic and great views of the water.

From the coastal cycle path you have a great view of St. Morten's Church in Nederby. It was built at the beginning of the 12th century.

This huge 6.5 ton steel cow stands as a landmark in front of the cheese shop and dairy in Thise. Created by the artist Bernhard Lipsøe, it was brought to its destination in Thise in 2007 after a stopover at the Skiver Art Museum and at Posttorvet in Skive. http://www.ecoweb.dk/artikler/20070523.htm

The memorial stone commemorates a special war event in March 1945, the so-called "Operation Waterdropping". During the occupation of Denmark, the Toldstrup troops fought against the Germans. They received containers of weapons from the air for the first time from the Allies, which were dropped over the water from a four-engine Lancaster bomber. The type of aircraft can be seen on the memorial stone.

From the car park it is only a few metres to a staircase that leads to the north beach. A great place to rest with a panoramic view. There is even a toilet.
