Next to the shelters there are places for campfires, barbecues, etc. You can't stand upright in the huts, but they seem perfect for slipping in and lying in. Closed to the west and open to the fire and mountain. Looks like someone really put a lot of thought and effort into it!

With the burial mound at the top, it is the highest mountain in Denmark. Without the burial mound it is only enough for second place. Regardless of this rating, the climb is considerable by Danish standards and is rewarded with a wide panoramic view. The highest (Møllehøj) and third highest mountain (Ejer Bavnehøj) are located nearby.

Great facility and imposing building. Every few minutes a lovely melody is played near the tower. You could enjoy the view for free. Overall, the area is really nice.

The highest mountains or elevations in Denmark are in the Ejer Bjerge, a range of hills between Horsens and Skanderborg in the eastern part of the Midtjylland region (Central Jutland). In 2005, high-precision measurements revealed Møllehøj (170.86m), located 200 m west of Ejer Bavnehøj, to be the highest natural elevation in the country, while a Bronze Age burial mound of Yding Skovhøj was determined to be the highest elevation at 172.54m, which includes man-made mounds.

The most beautiful of the three peaks on the small circular route. There are benches at the top and you have - at least in one direction - a nice view over the area. There are shelters for overnight stays right next to the summit.

Beautiful and well-kept facility with information center and toilets. The Reunification Tower (Genforeningstårnet), built in 1924, is located on the third highest mountain in Denmark. For 10 crowns (mobile pay only - as of Sep 2022) you can enjoy the view from above.
