Less than 30m away is a beautiful, quiet stretch of beach with shade under the trees. In a 3-hour break, a total of 2 other hikers came by 😊 so extremely quiet to take a break 😴

Pretty cottage right by the sea. fantastic. It would be too "public" for me personally. The hiking trail leads right past it and almost everyone takes a look.

The landscape on the Gendarmenstieg becomes significantly more rugged near Kragesand, and the beach path is a tedious climb, climbing from rock to rock. Not for those with sore feet! A large, free parking lot with an information board. There's always a bit of wind on the beach, sometimes more, which attracts kitesurfers and surfers. The beach is very rocky at this point. A little further west, there's a sandy beach. There are several picnic benches between the parking lot and the "Love Tunnel." Geocachers can also find quite a bit here. Dogs on leashes are welcome.
