The Meerdaalwoud is a vast forest area with a network of well-maintained trails that are ideal for mountain bikers. The Warandedreef is a major gravel road that winds through the heart of the Meerdaalwoud. It offers a unique combination of technical sections, fast straights and a number of tough climbs.

The Bertembos and Grevensbos together form a beautiful, extensive forest area near Bertem, where deciduous trees such as oaks and beeches create a dense canopy. This wooded area is special because of the alternation of old trees, open spaces and rare plants, which supports a rich biodiversity.

This beautiful sunken path to the Zoete Waters near Oud-Heverlee is a dream route for mountain bikers, with its narrow passage surrounded by high, moss-covered verges and shady trees. The path winds and challenges you with short climbs and loose sections, where you can fully enjoy the peace and natural beauty of Flemish Brabant.

I wouldn't recommend it with a gravel bike anyway. More like an MTB path. Uphill maybe just barely, but downhill too narrow and too many washed out parts to ride through.

On top of the dune hill that is the Tomberg you will find a - currently partly broken - bench around an ever-growing tree where you can sit under. There is an information board and you are surrounded by heathland, a piece of grassland, sandy roads and during this period a beautiful sea of ferns.
