Its current exterior appearance was significantly shaped in the 19th century, with notable work carried out in 1862 and a major redesign in 1889, during which fieldstone with brick details (e.g., the portal/gable) defines the building's form. Its location in the Treene Valley and its rich interior furnishings (including a significant carved altarpiece) make the ensemble particularly worth seeing.
