From Bath to here on a road bike with 25mm is doable but take it easy, further on, its a little rougher and 35mm would be better. here is a good stop of lunch or a drink

Long Wood is a beautiful section of woodland located along the Bath Skyline trail on Claverton Down. The woods feature an elf and fairy foray where you can discover 22 fairy doors hidden in the trees, a great activity for the younger ones.

Dundas Aqueduct carries the Kennet & Avon canal over the river Avon and the railway. It was opened in 1805 and designed by famous architect John Rennie. The tow path between Bradford on Avon and Bath runs along the south side. To the north you can also cross the aqueduct to access the trails up through the woods to Conkwell or north along the river. There is often a boat that sells ice cream and cold drinks, or you can leave the canal and follow the signed trail to the Angel Fish cafe where there are toilets. You can often fill water from the boaters tap by the building and crane at the far side of the marina.

The Bath Skyline Parkrun is a fun and free 5km race/run that's held here every Saturday at 9:00. The race starts on Claverton Down east of this point and loops around Rainbow Woods along this trail and then back across the fields to the start, it's all off road but mostly on a gravel surface so never very muddy. The route follows some of the longer Bath Skyline route, a National Trust loop of the Bathampton Down and Claverton Down area of highland around the university and east of the city.

The coffee cart is found in a field just off the Bath Skyline walk near the popular Rainbow Woods. Grab a coffee and a cake and take it for a stroll or sit and enjoy it on one of the hay bales provided as seating. It's normally open weekends from 10:00 - 16:00 but is a bit weather dependent so don't absolutely bank on it.
