Alice Holt is managed by the Forestry Commission and is a popular place for cycling, running, walking and for families. A length of hero gravel runs through the forest which forms part of the Shipwright's Way.

Alice Holt Forest Cafe serves a good range of food and drink in a vibrant and colourful location. The family-run business prides itself on having green credentials, serving excellent food and creating a wonderful atmosphere. The cafe and is well-equipped with plenty of facilities, too.

The Coldrey manor dates back to at least the 13th century with the house dating back to the 16th. The estate belonged to the Bishop of Winchester although it was tenanted out along with the Coldrey Cottages just to the west. The house has been re-fronted several times and each property on the estate is now privately owned. Whilst you can't visit the house itself, there is a lane alongside so you can see the estate and it's buildings from there.
