The Naked Man is a sculpture in front of the Wildparkstadion on Adenauerring in Karlsruhe. The stone figure in the shape of an athlete was created around 1958/59 by sculptor Emil Sutor and donated to Karlsruher SC. It was designed for athletics events in the 1950s. The models were the then 27-year-old sports student Georg Kenntner (1932–2025) – later head of the Sports Institute at the University of Karlsruhe – and his fellow student Hans Weber. For a time, it was also called "Schlotter-Beck" in memory of former KSC center forward Heinz Beck[1]. Due to the construction of the new Wildparkstadion, the sculpture was dismantled at the end of November 2019 and restored in Kuppenheim. It was stored until the new stadium was completed.
