The late Baroque Rochus Chapel is a Roman Catholic church and was built in 1747. It has been a listed monument since 1983 and is dedicated to St. Rochus of Montpellier.

The Palatinate Forest has been a biosphere reserve since 1992 and, together with the Northern Vosges Nature Park, forms the only cross-border biosphere reserve in Germany.
