Leisnig's old train station is being lovingly restored by local clubs and businesses. Occasionally, art and music are combined with culinary delights. We were fortunate enough to be there on May 1, 2025.

Small hydroelectric power station built between 1923 and 1925. It has a machine house, a transformer house and an intermediate building. There is also a residential building for the machine operators. All of the technology was dismantled in 1946, put back into operation in 1953, the plant was renovated in 1992 and the technical equipment was renewed in 1994.

The old train station building is being renovated by a private initiative with a lot of commitment and passion. It is a meeting place for musicians. The garden is beautifully landscaped and small concerts are regularly held on the stage.
