The municipality of Großheirath and the Großheirath-Buchenrod Fruit and Horticultural Association revived the tradition of planting a tree on the day of a child's baptism in 2009 with this baptism avenue. To commemorate a very special day, Großheirath parents were given the opportunity to plant such a tree along the cycle path from Großheirath to Rossach. Over the years, this beautiful avenue has grown into a beautiful avenue. The display board shows the name of the child being baptized, the date of baptism, and the location of each tree.
