Great menu, fair prices...very friendly staff. All this in a beautiful setting. The 15-minute walk from the mountain station to the mountain restaurant is definitely worth it. 

From this point (1.300 metres above sea level) you get a spectacular view over the valley.

Overall great place to be. It's not too crowded. there are several downhill tracks including one for kids. And there is a pump track. It's also possible to stay overnight in your campervan or car and there is a small shop where you can get something to drink, ice and local products.

Entschwil, an idyllic village in the municipality of Diemtigen in the canton of Bern, Switzerland, sits on a high plateau at an altitude of 1050 meters. Enjoy the wonderful view and reach the village either via the historic Kehrenweidweg or the road from Pochtenstutz. The Chirel stream marks the border with Riedern, whereby the location of a hut by the stream determines its affiliation. In the Diemtigtal you will find numerous hiking trails, from leisurely valley walks to challenging mountain tours.

There are also toilets in the school opposite, 0.50 to pay via Twint or cash, as well as a selection of cold drinks and 2-3 snacks!

Magnificent place, very steep access by bike (12-13% the first km) then softens as soon as you leave the forest. Coating good!
