Beautiful route. The highlight for me was the waterfalls.

Beautiful large lake situated between the mountains. You have a unique view all around. There are enough places to eat and drink and you can park nearby. If you want - outside the winter season - there are also pedal boats and other water sports activities to book.

Applies to the gravel path or promenade path between the railway line and the lakeshore: The path is signposted as a special path for pedestrians: "Sign 239 shows that there is a special path for pedestrians here. Other road users, with the exception of children up to 10 years of age riding bicycles, are prohibited from using the pedestrian path." So 🚲 push!

The Great Alpsee is a natural lake of almost 250 hectares in the northern Allgäu Alps with a circumference of 8.1 km west of Immenstadt im Allgäu in the Oberallgäu district in Bavaria.
