With lakeside trails and far-reaching views of the foothills, cycling alongside Boulder Reservoir is wonderful. The traffic-free trails are great for families, group rides and solo expeditions. There are plenty of great picnic spots too, should you need a break.
From this spot by the water, you get great views of the Flatirons and foothills of Boulder. If you ride by in the morning, the water is often still, making for great photographs.
The East Boulder - Teller Farm Trail is a wheelchair accessible trail that meanders past Teller Lake and through farmland where crops are grown and cattle and horses graze. The groomed trails are popular with runners, cyclists and birdwatchers.
