The organ located on the western gallery was built between 1672 and 1673 by the Leipzig organ builder Christoph Donat. It is one of the most important historic organs in Brandenburg. The first documented mention of a church dedicated to St. Nicholas and St. Mary in Luckau dates back to 1291.
