The wind pumping station was used to drain the Thurbruch River from 1926 to 1968. Afterward, the drainage was replaced by electric pumps, and the structure was listed as a historical monument. In 1990, the pumping station was restored and remains fully functional today. A beautiful, quiet spot with a covered seating area where you can enjoy nature.

Kaiserbäder cycle path The longest beach promenade in continental Europe stretches from the east of the Baltic Sea resort of Ahlbeck to the northwest of Bansin. The beach promenade is worth seeing not only because of the three piers and the elaborate and beautifully laid out spa areas, but above all because of a unique ensemble of countless Wilhelminian spa villas. Most of these classicist villas would have been demolished after the war and neglect - the unique historical situation of German reunification has contributed to the fact that most of the buildings can now shine in their former glory.
