There's not much to see here. Nevertheless, the former border is an important reminder. Behind the hedge, the old patrol road is still visible.

The name of the "highlight" doesn't really fit here. Schnackenburg and Pevestorf are located on opposite sides of the Elbe. However, the section where the highlight is marked is located between Lütkenwisch and the Lenzener Schutzhafen.

The cascade at Lake Arendsee is a man-made waterfall and a popular attraction along the lakeside trail. In recent years, it has been temporarily dry due to the low water level in the lake, preventing operation. However, targeted water supply measures have reactivated the cascade and are now flowing again, much to the delight of locals and visitors alike. It's worth seeing, a beautiful sight.

The Queen Arendsee is a paddle-wheel steamer in the style of a Mississippi shuffle boat and is one of the main attractions on Lake Arendsee. A special highlight is that the Queen Arendsee houses the only floating registry office in Saxony-Anhalt. With space for around 120 people and an onboard restaurant, the ship offers regular tours from May to September. One tour offers impressive views of the lake and the surrounding landscape.
