Movie Spot La La Land

The Greenway is a paved two-lane multi-use path, which stretches for over 50 miles along the LA River.

The Rio Hondo Bike Bridge is an interesting structure that connects the bike trails that runs on either side of the Rio Hondo.

The Fort Moore Pioneer Memorial is a large stone military monument carved into a building wall that stands on the grounds of the original Fort Moore. It was created in 1957 and stands 78-feet tall.

The trail is part paved concrete and part packed dirt, and takes you through a series of parks along the San Gabriel River. The trail runs for a mile and a half and is interrupted by only two road crossings.

Before the final turns up Mount Hollywood Drive, there's the scenic viewpoint "Cathy's Corner" that served as a filming location for the movie "La La Land." The trail can be quite hot with limited shade, especially in the summer, so bikers should bring plenty of water to stay hydrated.

The Alex Baum Bicycle Bridge, a 680-foot span, crosses the Los Angeles River at Los Feliz Boulevard. Local officials and cyclists celebrated its dedication, honoring Alexandre Baum, who founded and chaired the Los Angeles Bicycle Advisory Committee.
