Always fantastic in good weather. There are both gravel and road-bike-friendly routes. On weekends, due to the many walkers, it's recommended for leisurely riding.

The lake is shining blue as we set off, the view across the water is clear, the phalanx of herons stands free of haze on the edge of the bird reserve's reeds, above them the bright white guano trees, completely covered in shit by cormorants, contrasting with the bright red dogwood that breaks through the blue of the water. There can hardly be a more beautiful light for viewing Lake Baldeney.

You can't really go wrong with a run around Lake Baldeney (unless you come on days when it's too busy). Then it can get uncomfortable between walkers, cyclists, etc.
