A high wall prevents the grounds of Drove Castle, located in the Kreuzau village of Drove, from being visible from the outside. Only the imposing gate, whose gable façade is crowned by an alliance coat of arms, allows passing hikers a glimpse of the private grounds—which are thus hidden from the public eye.

The route is very easy to ride. The uphill section is especially nice because you don't have to deal with traffic.

Good asphalt, rolls smoothly. But sometimes there are also lots of dirt clumps left by tractors on the paths.

easy to drive in both directions. Personally, I prefer to drive towards Vossenack, then the curves give you more variety on the climb. But the curves downhill are also easy to drive and, above all, pretty fast, although they flatten out a bit towards the bottom.
