The seahorse on the Samoa beach represents the island's attitude to life and has been an institution for decades. If you're looking for a relaxing break on your tour, you should visit the "beach kiosk" and sit in one of the beach chairs with an espresso or latte. But be careful: it's easy to get lost here. Not ideally connected by road bike: From the bike path, it's about 200m over sandy gravel towards the west coast, so 30mm tires are helpful. https://samoa-seepferdchen.de/

The island's "main station" is the terminal station and also the last stop on the island. From here, thousands of commuters and tourists flood the city center every day. The landmark of the station forecourt are the crooked green people.

Not necessarily a highlight for bike riders. Friedrichstrasse is also a pedestrian zone, so bikes have to be pushed. It marks the shopping centre of Westerland and from there you go westwards to the main beach. You can also cruise through here for a tour in the early morning hours.
