Eutin Castle in Eutin, East Holstein, is the cultural center and nucleus of the town. Along with Gottorf Castle and Glücksburg Castle, it is one of the most important secular court buildings in Schleswig-Holstein. The four-winged complex originated from a medieval castle and was expanded into a royal residence over several centuries.

Very beautiful route, especially when coming from Groß Parin, you can drive at a decent speed. Be careful of wild animals crossing the road in the morning and at dusk!

The chronicle of the Immenhof estate is many pages long and goes back to the Middle Ages. In 1361, the diocese of Lübeck bought the "farm called Rodesand with the Gremsmühle" as a supply farm for Eutin Castle. In the 18th century, Rothensande was divided into hereditary leaseholds.
