The Spissibach suspension bridge is one of a total of six suspension bridges on the Lake Thun Panorama Circular Trail. The popular 56 km long circular hike connects various high-altitude and shore paths around the lake. The 140 m long panoramic bridge in the immediate vicinity of the Meielisalp above Leissigen impresses with its simplicity and stability. Thanks to the latest construction technology, you can cross the Spissigraben effortlessly and safely. The first steps on the bridge may require a little courage, but you quickly get used to the gentle rocking. The breathtaking view of the deep blue Lake Thun and the surrounding natural landscape ensures that you forget the abyss below you or even enjoy it. Combine the individual tour of the Spissibach suspension bridge with the beautiful panoramic hike from Aeschi to Leissigen, for example. Crossing the bridge is a real highlight of this route.
