The gravel trail to Muuratharju, near Jyvaskyla, takes you through peaceful forests and natural landscapes, offering a relaxing escape into nature. Rising to an elevation of about 170 meters (558 feet) above sea level, Muuratharju provides stunning views of the surrounding lakes and forests.

Korpilahti lies on the shores of Lake Päijänne, one of Finland's largest lakes. Korpilahti offers a rich cultural experience with its 19th-century church, local artisan shops, and traditional Finnish festivals like Midsummer. The Säynätsalo Municipal Hall is one of the most significant works of architect Alvar Aalto, who has an internationally renowned position in the history of modern architecture. Aalto himself was fascinated by Säynätsalo and named the islands of Lake Päijänne Tahiti.

This is the former home of Nokia. Research and development for an entire generation of mobile phones was conducted here. As is well known, this era ended with Apple's iPhone and Google's Android operating system. Nokia's N98 series no longer had a future.

This church is located in the very center of the city. Around the building is the Kirkkopuisto Park, where there are also some small monuments.
