With the burial mound at the top, it is the highest mountain in Denmark. Without the burial mound it is only enough for second place. Regardless of this rating, the climb is considerable by Danish standards and is rewarded with a wide panoramic view. The highest (Møllehøj) and third highest mountain (Ejer Bavnehøj) are located nearby.

Located right by Yding Skov and equipped with a toilet. Denmark's highest point, Yding Skovhøj, is located in the forest. From the parking lot and adjacent stone circle you have a beautiful view over the country.
