Viborg Cathedral is a magnificent Romanesque church that stands as a central landmark in the city. While the current building is largely a 19th-century reconstruction, it is renowned for the incredible frescoes by artist Joakim Skovgaard that adorn its interior. These vibrant paintings tell the story of the Bible and are a truly stunning sight to behold. It's a powerful and historically significant place that is well worth a visit.

Newly built overnight site in Arnbjerg with new shelters, there is also space for tents, but no water. The location is very close to town, but quiet.

Very nice small park with lots of beautiful flowers, a fantastic view of Nørresø, playground, possibility to go pedal boating, or in summer a small trip on the lakes with the small ship Margrethe I.

The trip around Søndersø is always nice. You can also swim in the lake at the campsite.

Unfortunately, the forecourt of the cathedral is misused as a large parking lot.
