Vallum Sø is a lake near Ryomgård. A lovely place for a short break on your hike.

You can catch a glimpse of the lake through the trees, at least in autumn. You might even be able to go down to the lake in the summer months, but it was quite a wet meadow and better not to enter without rubber boots

The only point where you have such a clear view of the lake and can get so close (at least on my tour on the way west along the lake). It was very wet at the end of October so close to the lake, but beautiful despite the haze/drizzle
