The beautiful view of the "Großvenediger" can be reached via a great, not too difficult circular hiking trail on foot or via the Gschlöss road, by hiking taxi, the Gschlössbähnle (small train), or even by bike!

Across the widened valley of the Gschlößbach, there are wonderful views to the west of the Venediger group with its glaciers (especially the Schlatenkees). In front of them, in the valley, lies the alpine village of Innergschlöß.

Next to the restaurant there are beautiful alpine houses. A hiking trail also branches off from the restaurant to the St. Pöltner Hütte - a fantastic day hike with 3 lakes and comes back in Aussergschlöß. We did this hike in reverse order and then stopped at the inn.

On the hike along the Glössbach you can see beautiful old alpine settlements and get very impressive views of the Venice Glacier.
