The Slokas Lake Trail takes you deep into the silent beauty of Latvian nature. The narrow wooden walkway winds through dense, swampy forests and opens up views of vast expanses of water where the sunlight plays. As you follow the trail, you will experience the diversity of wetland flora - tall trees, green reeds and the gentle glitter of the water create a calming atmosphere. In spring and autumn, the trail becomes a paradise for birdwatchers, as numerous migratory birds rest in the surrounding lakes. An ideal place for a quiet hike where you can experience Latvia's wild nature up close.

The pavilion on the "Island of Lovers" is a quiet retreat in the middle of Ķemeri Park, surrounded by picturesque scenery and the small Vēršupīte River. The white rotunda with its curved staircase and the surrounding bridge is reminiscent of times gone by, when the park was a popular health resort. The surroundings look like a scene from an old novel, ideal for a stroll or a quiet break. This place unfolds its nostalgic charm especially at dusk.

In Kemeri National Park you will find a surprisingly quiet and untouched landscape, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. This nature trail, which elegantly winds its way through the raised bog, leads you to a special place - the 'Bog Class' teaching site. Here, signs invite you to learn more about the bog ecosystem. As you walk on the wooden walkways, you have the opportunity to rest at various points and soak up the atmosphere in the middle of this special landscape. The highlight is certainly the observation tower, from which you have a breathtaking view of the vastness of the bog. At sunrise, the mist over the small bog lakes seems almost mystical and reinforces the feeling of being immersed in another world. The bench on the edge of a quiet bog lake invites you to linger - perfect for enjoying a moment of silence and taking in the surrounding nature. A small tip: mosquito repellent is recommended, especially in the summer months!
