Sunset Rock is a popular overlook on Lookout Mountain, offering breathtaking views of the Chattanooga Valley, especially at sunset. A short but steep hike via Kiddie Trail leads to the overlook. This trail is less popular than others due to its challenging nature, but the views along the way and at the top make it well worth the effort.

Mountain Beautiful Trail winds along the mountain, with rocky outcroppings scattered throughout the forest. The trail is well-marked but less traveled than others in the area, so it may be slightly overgrown at the beginning—though nothing too difficult to navigate. It offers a peaceful walk through the forest with the chance to enjoy some solitude. You can combine it with Hardy Trail, which is also less popular and slightly challenging at first.
