Måsahaugen is the first peak on the trail that connects lake Svihusvatnet to the Ramnafjellet loop. Located at about 380 meters of elevation, the hike here will take you through a varied terrain of pine forests, marshes, and open rocky ridges.

This peak in Sandnes is located in an open landscape of grazing fields and small marshes. At the summit, you can explore two different cairns. The northern one sits right on the cliff's edge, offering a great view down into Noredalen and towards Vårlivarden.

The nest box for birds is really worth seeing. Do the birds dare to fly through the open mouth? Someone made an effort!

The cave was created by a huge boulder that fell and landed on other rocks in such a way that a cave was formed underneath. During World War II, the local population hid here from attacks by German soldiers. The cave is surprisingly large and contains stairs and a bench. Access requires a final scramble over large boulders and slippery tree roots.
