The Pemaquid Point Light is a historic lighthouse built in 1835 at the tip of Pemaquid Neck, jutting out into the Atlantic Ocean. For a fee of $4/person, you have access to the surrounding park and the Fishermen's Museum in the former lighthouse keeper's house. Friends of Pemaquid Point Lighthouse operates the lighthouse and takes care of its maintenance. This is funded entirely by donations from visitors - $1 if you want to climb the lighthouse. Hendrick's Head Beach features a parking area and is sandwiched between Hendrick's Head Lighthouse and Hendrick's Head Preserve. You get a great view of the lighthouse and bay from here next to Kitten Island.

There is an intertwined trail system at Dodge Point Preserve. You get to run past the Ice Pond, multiple coves, and along the shores of the river. These are popular trails, and you can even access the longer River Link Trail from here.

Zak Preserve can be connected to Dodge Point Preserve by following the River Link Trail to the north. The trail passes through the forest while jumping from bog to bog. There are also some wide open meadow sections.

Ovens Mouth Preserve is the union of two separate peninsulas that are connected by a bridge and an intertwining trial system. The paths feature lots of rolling hills through forests and meadows and by the bay and bogs.

There is a bench here overlooking the bay and Cross River. There is a long section of trail leading here that follows the banks of the water continuously.
