The Protestant Church of Grou, or St. Peter's Church, is a religious building in Grou, one of the many medieval churches in Friesland. This Romanesque church was built from tuff stone in the first half of the 13th century.

Place to the west of De Alde Feanen.

Grou is a touristy but characteristic water sports village in the middle of Friesland with a pleasant centre.

The three brothers Joost, Eeltsje and Tsjalling Halbertsma published the book Lapekoer in 1822, with the aim of inspiring Frisians to read and write in their own language. Several books and collections soon followed, several of which are Frisian classics. Folk literature. Especially the prose and especially the poetry of Eeltsje Halbertsma was popular. To honour him, a statue of him was erected in 1904 at the initiative of the ‘Selskip foar Fryske Taal en Skriftekennisse’. The inscription reads: “Oan Dr Eeltsje Halbertsma – Lju bliuwe ás Fryske tael en liet”. The statue first stood inconspicuously in a corner of the park and became weathered due to the damp location under the trees. It was therefore renovated in 1994 and moved to its current location.

Tower 1878. The oldest building in Reduzum is the Reformed Church from the 13th century. At the end of the 16th century, the village became an independent Reformed community through the appointment of preacher Andreas Harca. From the Roman Catholic period, only walls and a few gravestones remain. The church and the 19th century tower were restored in 1983. The church contains stucco work from the previous century and a beautiful organ. This organ was the showpiece of Albertus van Gruisen. It was his first organ (1784) in a Reformed church in Friesland.

On the Frienzer terp stands the church dating from 1795, which was built with a legacy from the Van Sytzama family. There was probably a church on this terp before the year 1200. The high terp was built on the eastern bank of the former Middelzee that ran to Jirnsum.
